Steps To
Heaven Construction, Incorporated
Steps to Heaven Construction, Inc became a corporation in October of 1992. The corporation's main emphasis is the creation of a home with character in the Shenandoah Valley. The corporation's history was in restoration projects, remodeling projects, and new home construction in western Loudoun, Fauquier, and Clarke Counties. The remodeling projects surrounded estate housing upgrades and additions including elaborate pool houses, handmade trim, handmade mantles, handmade bookcases, hand made doors, and intricate expensive house details afforded by those who have money to invest in such projects and wishes.
Warren County became the base of building in 1993 for Steps to Heaven Construction, Inc. The first Warren County home for the corporation was built in the private community of High Knob. New home construction changed the emphasis of the company as it progressed. The company focused on producing homes in Warren County with great character and curbside appeal. Since the company is housed in Warren County, the goal was to improve the quality of housing in the County as well as the value of the areas in which the company built homes. The homes built by Steps to Heaven Construction, Inc. are unusual in nature and have much in character. The standards incorporated in the homes are what other designate as "extras". Examples of the character placed on the houses include handmade waterwheels replicating the old waterwheel on mills, added covered country porches, copulas, weathervanes, Grade A cedar siding without knots, handmade components to the interior of the house including trim parts, handmade mantles, and stain glass windows.
Steps to Heaven Construction, Inc. is also concerned with the environment in several ways. The company takes extra measures and resources to preserve the existing environment on the land. Trees are saved, streams are restored or protected, ponds are created, and parcels are consolidated to create one property for one house. The company policy is to preserve the land's character and have the home fit the land as if it was meant to be there.
The corporation's policy is to build a home we would live in ourselves and improve the County's housing options. Our emphasis is quality rather than quantity. We tender our thoughts to resale value for our Purchasers and the longevity of our product.
